Teacher Tool #1

Today I've been working so diligently on some stuff for school.  Any teachers out there ever heard of Prezi?  It's like PowerPoint, but more appealing to the eye.  It allows you to embed videos right into the presentation as well.  Not sure if I'll go completely Prezi this year with my material, but I started with my first presentation, lab safety.

Go here and check out my presentation: Lab Safety Link

Lemme know what you think of Prezi! (I'm not endorsed to talk about their company, I just wanna put tools out there for us teachers to use and make life easier!)

Here's a sneak peak of a DIY I'll post tomorrow....

Happy Wednesday!

  1. I haven't tried Prezi yet, but it's definitely something that I'll look into using.

My curriculum went from Eastern Hemisphere history/culture/geography to the entire world, so I have a LOT of adjustments to make for this year (and I'm slightly freaking out about it--and I still have deal with cheerleading, National Junior Honor Society, and my advisory group to contend with--eeeeek!), so this may be put on hold for a while, but I definitely want to look into it! Thanks for sharing! Your presentation was great--and so much fun! I think you'll at least have their attention.

You're going to be a super awesome teacher.

  2. Oh my! You have a lot to work with! Yes, put Prezi on hold...but if you're able to create one lecture based on Prezi instead of PowerPoint, it's worth it :)

Thanks for checking it out! Hopefully the safety rules won't be too boring!
